Our Mission

Burbank is a public school that serves children, infants to age 5, with special needs in Oakland. We are dedicated to providing access to high quality, relevant, and research-based education to all students. Our specialized programs aim to promote effective communication, academic, social, and self-help development in order to prepare our students for success as life-long learners. We are also dedicated to establishing and maintaining an effective and supportive partnership with our families - as they are the most important teachers of our students throughout their lives.
